Excavations at Black Loch, 2017

Excavations will soon begin again at Black Loch of Myrton, the spectacular wetland village near Whithorn, Dumfries and Galloway. Fieldwork begins on Monday 22nd May, ending on 10th June. There are opportunities to volunteer on the site, under the supervision of archaeologists from AOC Archaeology Group. Find more details on AOC’s Facebook page:
